Hello there, welcome to my website. You are especially welcome if you are looking for entertaining and provocative off broadway plays for regional production. I am 85 years young, still going strong. My last play, The Body Politic, was shown Feb. 2011 at 59East59th St. Theaters, NYC. And I have one in the works.
Every Day A Visitor, had a revival this past winter at The Clurman Theatre on Theatre Row, produced by The New Federal Theater, directed by Margarett Perry.
A New Play, In A Dry Season, had a roundtable reading at
The Lark Theatre on March 7th, directed by Margarett Perry.
Received this response from Producer Daryl Roth:
I was just writing a response to your play when I received your email. Thank you for sending In a Dry Season, I was happy to become familiar with your writing. It’s a provocative play and you’ve created layered, rich characters. I also love that it has a very fine role for an older actor.
As I mentioned, I am not considering new projects at this time, but my advice would be to continue sending the play to regional theatres. I know you’ll find someone who responds to the material and has room in their season for a very producible, two character play.
I wish you all the best as you move forward with the project and thank you again for sharing it with me.
